One, Two, Three

Hello everyone.

Happy November days to you. Thank you for continuing to visit me here, and welcome if you have only just stumbled into this small corner.

It always feels good to finish a project, so I have one of those this week: a couple of quick craft projects to continue working on and some delicious baking in the kitchen with D.

One completed project.

My colourful crochet blanket is finally finished. Looking back, I realised that I started this project in January 2025. It's not the longest project I've taken, but it's long enough. I love all the bright colours, and although it looks lovely on my bed, it may be finding another home.

Two works in progress.

The blanket cost virtually nothing to make because I already had plenty of yarn in my stash. However, there was still plenty of yarn left, and two new projects have been on my knitting needles since then. They have also cost me nothing. Although the knitting was enjoyable, I really do not relish the sewing up. Any ideas what they might be? I'll show the finished knits very soon.

Three bakes.

As it has been half term this week, D has been happy in the kitchen and between us we made a ginger cake, a simple sponge with sprinkles and some rhubarb crumble. Unfortunately, the crumble was eaten before any photos were taken.

We have some new things to look forward to at the end of this week, but in the meantime, however the new week is looking for you, I hope it is a good one for you all. Take care.
